I'm back! Like my people (Dominicans) like to say, you have to go away so that people miss you.
Anyways, I got my password back and it's all gravy from here. What have I missed?
The Roots/Kweli/Skillz concert was off the hook, pictures coming up soon (hopefully).
I'm off
like a prom dress
with the quickness

My Filmmaking Manifesto
Peep the manifesto...let I know what you think...it's still rough...Based loosely on the Dogme 95 guerilla filmmaking manifesto.
1. Story must not contain anything perfect.
2. Main character must in some way address if not confront issues of his/her soul’s eternality. This can be done through main character’s direct experience or through the experiences of other characters.
3. Story must not contain obscure wealthy characters unless they are identified as obscure and wealthy. Money cannot grow on trees.
4. Film cannot glamorize sexual relations as isolated purely physical acts.
5. Actors must be allowed to adlib 40% of their dialogue unless such a case is totally detrimental to the scene.
6. The film must fully exploit, while operating reasonably within its visual medium. (If it is shot on DV, Extreme Wide angle shots are unacceptable) Lights and filters are permissible to the extent that they make the scene look as “realistically appealing” as possible
7. The film must be beautiful, because life is beautiful.
8. The film must be ugly, because life is ugly.
9. The director cannot have more than a minute of onscreen time
10. The film must take advantage of filmmaking as a cottage industry. The filmmaking process must be a blessing to all those who cross the film’s path in the production stages.
11. The film must not be excessive in anyway.
12. The film must be mindful of the powers of suggestion, and therefore not over-emphasize any vice no matter how righteous the end.
13. Films are parables crafted to deliver a message or idea. No limit is too far when seeking to communicate that message as long as the means do not violate the laws above.

shrimp dumpling wonton soup from the BOX
Yo, that's nasty Nsa. I dare some stranger to touch me.
A kiss becomes a fight.
HAH.
I left the house once today to pick up my suit and to spy on my whole block
I put too much salt in the soup.
I spent all day working on my resume and a demo reel of my stuff. It came out very nicely.
Money is duh-windling. Buy stuff from my SHOP...it's SHAMELESS PROMOTION month.
I really want this job.
I haven't read my Bible today.
It's MY Bible.
Peace to the Undulators.
I just made those guys up.
THPS3, ETA: 9 mins 6 seconds
Rick lectures about filesharing.
Adam Listens.
Scream at me. It's BibleTIME.
Church was great on Sunday. My flesh was NOT trying to hear it.
I thought the watching would stop.
I kept fidgeting in my seat.
Everyone has their addictions.
WOW
that sounds bad...but if you watch the movie linked above, you'll get it.
PEACE TO my famblee

One little negro FINALLY got his John Dust copy...
that's P. Juan...or Pigeon John to all of you...but that's all good.
Everybody go hug Nsa. She's having a day off. She needs to know how much we all love her.
Tomorrow is FIRST FRIDAYS....
I'm a tiny bit hyped about it since it's the first time I'm going since being back...
For those of you who are like "WHICH FF?" It's actually called
"First Friday's Fundamentals" and it's a hip hop event held by Shai Lynne of rocksoul
and Tim Brindle of Lampmoderecordings and it's ALWAYS off the deal deal.
That's where I shot Tim's release party. Live hip hop band, no cover, and SOMETIMES refreshments...
my mens MAC and T.R.U.-L.I.F.E. will be holdin it down tomorrow.
65th and Lansdowne in a PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH of all places! CHEA!
listen for the music, and look for the big red doors.
it's mad cool (weather) in philly this week, but it's usually hot and muggy in there, but it should be nice tomorrow.
sCReam whodie.
Bye Nsa. Feel good NOW.
